ABOUT FUEL TIME

In September 1994, We! Darcy and Charlene O'Neill opened the doors to our home and started an independent home heating oil company on Acadia Street in New Glasgow. Darcy, who followed in his father and grandfather's (who were both involved in the oil industry) footsteps took an aggressive interest in the oil business almost 40 years ago.

In 1997, Darcy's father Patton worked in the business for a period of 10 years, who then at 70 years young, decided to retire. In 2001, our son Adam joined the family business and is presently still working for the company. The business quickly grew, and in 1999 we built a new office/garage building relocating our business to 56 John Street, New Glasgow where our business still resides.

Taking pride in being a locally owned family business, we work hard to provide personalized, friendly service to all of our customers. We make a great effort to know all of our customers personally and in return, giving customers a chance to get to know us. Whatever your heating needs are, Fuel Time is here to meet them.

In Loving Memory

He is also survived by his brother, Stephen O'Neill, sister, Sharon O'Neill, and was predeceased by a brother, Patton O'Neill Jr.

D'Arcy leaves behind his dear wife, Charlene, loving children, Adam (Sabrina), Sam (Jenna), Lacey (Jeremy), and three grandchildren: Damon (Adam), Madelynn (Lacey) and Averi (Sam). D'Arcy is deeply loved; he will be missed dearly by all his family, extended family, nieces, nephews, and friends.

D'Arcy and his wife established their business, Fuel Time, in 1994. His passion to provide for his family drove an exceptional work ethic and he was extremely proud and honoured to serve his community.
